OUR NEW TWO-DAY WEEKLY AUCTION FORMAT BEGINS NOVEMBER 11 & 12, 2026, AT OUR CONWAY LOCATION! MYRTLE BEACH — COMING SOON! At John T. Henry Auction Co., we believe the best way to improve our business is to listen to the people who support us — our buyers, consignors, and haulers. Over the past several months, we've received valuable feedback about our weekly consignment auctions. HERE'S WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN TELLING US: "THERE ARE TOO MANY LOTS TO LOOK THROUGH!" Our weekly auctions regularly feature over 1,500 lots, making it difficult for customers to browse everything. "I'M STILL AT WORK WHEN THE AUCTION STARTS!" Our current 2 PM closing time makes it difficult for working customers to participate. "I'M STAYING UP TOO LATE WAITING FOR MY ITEMS TO CLOSE!" Large catalogs can take hours to finish, leaving customers bidding late into the evening. "IT'S HARD TO KEEP UP WITH EVERYTHING!" With so much merchandise in one auction, items can easily get overlooked. WE HEAR YOU, AND WE'RE TRYING TO FIX IT! We're introducing two smaller, more focused auctions with new closing times to make bidding easier and give merchandise greater visibility. We know we may not get everything perfect right away, but we're committed to listening, trying new ideas, and making adjustments along the way. OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE: MAKE OUR AUCTIONS EASIER TO BROWSE, MORE CONVENIENT TO BID ON, AND BETTER FOR EVERYONE! HERE'S HOW THE NEW AUCTIONS WILL WORK WEDNESDAY — DEALS & FINDS AUCTION BEGINS CLOSING AT 4:00 PM Featuring approximately 900–1,100 lots of household merchandise, tools, lawn and garden equipment, furniture, collectibles, and everyday treasures. This auction is designed for customers who enjoy finding bargains, discovering unique items, and shopping a wide variety of merchandise. THURSDAY — PREMIER CONSIGNMENT AUCTION BEGINS CLOSING AT 6:00 PM Featuring approximately 400–600 lots of select merchandise, including quality furniture, antiques, jewelry, coins, firearms, collectibles, specialty items, and more. By separating our merchandise into two auctions, we can provide more focused advertising and help buyers find the merchandise they're most interested in. Both auctions will continue to be conducted ONLINE ONLY through our website and mobile app. IMPORTANT: AUCTION CLOSING TIMES The times listed above are when each auction BEGINS CLOSING, not when every lot will be finished. Lots will close progressively throughout the auction, and bidding extensions may occur. We encourage customers to place maximum bids in advance if they cannot watch the auction live. OPEN HOUSE & AUCTION PREVIEW HOURS WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO INSPECT MERCHANDISE BEFORE BIDDING! WEDNESDAY OPEN HOUSE — 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Preview merchandise from BOTH Wednesday's Deals & Finds Auction and Thursday's Premier Consignment Auction. THURSDAY OPEN HOUSE — 2:00 PM–4:00 PM An additional opportunity to inspect merchandise before Thursday's Premier Consignment Auction begins closing. Our staff will be available to answer questions and assist customers in locating merchandise. All merchandise is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, so we strongly encourage inspection before bidding. TWO AUCTIONS — ONE LINKED INVOICE — ONE FRIDAY PICKUP! Buyers can participate in Wednesday's auction, Thursday's auction, or BOTH! ALL PURCHASES WILL BE LINKED TO ONE INVOICE! Whether you purchase from one auction or both, your merchandise will be linked together on one convenient invoice! Our new system will organize purchases from both auctions together, making it easier to keep track of merchandise and schedule pickup. HOW WILL CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS WORK? YOUR PAYMENT PROCESS WILL REMAIN THE SAME! Credit cards will continue to be processed after each night's auction, just as they are now. WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Credit cards will be processed following the Deals & Finds Auction. THURSDAY NIGHT: Credit cards will be processed following the Premier Consignment Auction. LINKED INVOICE: Purchases from both auctions will be combined into one invoice for your convenience. IMPORTANT: Although your purchases will be linked together, you may see separate credit card charges for Wednesday's and Thursday's purchases. FRIDAY PICKUP — 8:30 AM–3:00 PM ONE PICKUP APPOINTMENT FOR BOTH AUCTIONS! All purchases from Wednesday and Thursday can be picked up during the same Friday pickup appointment. Please schedule your pickup using the link provided after the auction. Bring boxes, packing materials, tools, and assistance for loading larger merchandise. Our staff will assist in locating purchases but cannot load or secure merchandise. TWO AUCTIONS. TWO DAYS. ONE LINKED INVOICE. ONE CONVENIENT PICKUP! Consignors should continue separating and organizing their merchandise into individual lots, exactly as they have always done. Our staff will continue tagging, photographing, and cataloging merchandise using the same procedures. Once merchandise has been processed, OUR TEAM will determine which items belong in Wednesday's Deals & Finds Auction and which belong in Thursday's Premier Consignment Auction. You do not need to decide which auction your merchandise belongs in. We will handle that part! Both auctions will receive professional photography, cataloging, and advertising tailored to the merchandise being offered. We believe this new format will give merchandise greater visibility and allow our marketing team to better target interested buyers. NEW WEEKLY CONSIGNMENT DROP-OFF SCHEDULE We're moving more of our intake to Monday and Tuesday to give our staff additional time to prepare merchandise and get auctions online sooner. BRINGING LARGE ITEMS OR A TRAILER LOAD? PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE ACCESS TO AN UNLOADING DOOR. Smaller, more focused catalogs that are easier to browse. Shorter individual auctions so customers aren't waiting as long for items to close. Better merchandise visibility through more focused advertising. More time to browse and bid by getting auctions online earlier. One linked invoice and one convenient Friday pickup for purchases from both auctions. The same professional auction services our customers have come to expect. We understand that splitting our weekly auctions into two days may not be everyone's preference. We're willing to try something different because our customers have asked us to!
